The opening was also attended by City Council Vice Chairman and Commission A Vice Chairman, Khoirudin and Inggard Joshua.

Jakarta's Anniversary, TMII Offers Many Interesting Promos and Events

Jakarta City Council Chairman, Prasetyo Edi Marsudi, appreciated the event which is held to enliven Jakarta's 497 Anniversary.

"It is hoped the event will be able to increase the economy," he said, Wednesday (6/19).

He also hopes that the city of Jakarta will continue to grow towards becoming a Global City, after being officially designated as a special area.

"I am optimistic that the city of Jakarta will be better and become a Global City after no longer being the nation's capital," he added.

Meanwhile, Jakarta City Council Vice Chairman, Khoirudin, also appreciated the event held at Jakarta City Council office's yard.

"The event is full of inspiration. I also bought a hat and kerak telor," he admitted.
