Six fire engines with 24 personnel from the East Jakarta Fire Handling and Rescue Sub-agency (Gulkarmat), managed to overcome the fire that burned an electronics shop on Jalan Raya Karya Bakti VII, RT 007/04 Makasar Urban Village, East Jakarta, Monday (7/1) .
No casualities in the incident
East Jakarta Gulkarmat Sub-agency's Operation Section Head, Gatot Sulaeman said the fire occurred when the shop was still closed, at around 5.05 AM. Suddenly, residents passing by saw fire emerging from inside the building and immediately reported it to the nearest firefighter.
"We have controlled the flames within 50 minutes, no casualities in the incident," he expressed.
