The South Jakarta Transportation Sub-agency cracked down on illegal parking of two-wheeled vehicles on Jalan Senopati, Selong Urban Village, Kebayoran Baru Sub-district, Tuesday (7/2).

South Jakarta Transportation Sub-agency's Supervisory Member, Eebenezer Tobing stated as many as 100 joint personnel were deployed to the location, consisting of Transportation Sub-agency, Satpol PP, and army/police.

"The action we are taking now is that we are transporting some of the two-wheeled vehicles to the temporary storage area of ​​the South Jakarta Transportation Sub-agency. Then we remove the other part of the valve," he expressed.

He explained personnel cracked down on 100 vehicles where 25 were grounded and the rest were flattened.

"For dossier, the police will handle it," he explained.

By so, residents could better understand the importance of orderly traffic or not parking haphazardly, so not to disturb the rights of pedestrians, cyclists or public order.

"Hopefully, it can give a deterrent effect for those who violate it and will have a broad impact on the smooth flow of traffic and the aesthetics of the environment," he hoped.

"Hopefully, the operation can prevent the same case considering illegal parking is very disturbing and dangerous," he hoped.
