"This program is a form of our commitment together with elements of society to improve the quality of life through providing adequate housing and structuring land ownership through Vertical Land Consolidation (KTV)," Heru said, as quoted from Jakarta Provincial Government's press release.

Equipped with supporting facilities and infrastructure in accordance with decent housing standards, both in terms of building durability, air circulation, lighting, sanitation, as well as guaranteeing the legality of legal land ownership for residential owners.

"This residence is the first KTV in Indonesia which was successfully realized through the collaboration of various parties. Thank you to the Ministry of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning/National Land Agency (ATR/BPN), the Indonesian Buddhist Tzu Chi Foundation, and all parties involved in this program. In the future, it is hoped that the synergy in providing decent housing through the KTV scheme will continue to be strengthened so that it becomes a solution to overcome limited land in Jakarta, and the scope of this program can be expanded to other areas in Indonesia," he explained.

Heru hopes beneficiaries can get a decent life and can protect the environment.

"To the beneficiaries, we hope that they can be more independent in managing, maintaining and looking after Rumah Barokah Palmerah. Improving the physical quality of housing has the potential to improve economic and community conditions, as well as supporting sustainable city development," he added.

The Rumah Barokah Palmerah building is equipped with land rights, because it collaborates with the Ministry of ATR/BPN. The land rights consist of one joint Building Use Rights Certificate (SHGB), one use rights document, and nine Sarusun Ownership Rights Certificate (SHM) documents.

Meanwhile, the implementation of the Palmerah Barokah House construction is based on the Decree of the Governor of DKI Jakarta Number 369/2024 concerning Determination of Locations for Vertical Land Consolidation in Palmerah Urban Village, West Jakarta. This results in an agreement between the land owner and the Land Consolidation (KT) participants.
