Bank DKI Supports Cheap Bazaar in Jakarta

Bank DKI supports one of the sustainable development goals (SDG) realization. One of them is collaborating with Perumda Pasar Jaya to distribute CSR in the form of subsidies for 1,000 basic food packages in Bintaro, South Jakarta, some time ago.

During the event, Bank DKI gave subsidy Rp 50,000 for 1,000 basic food packages worth Rp 150,000 per package. Each packages contained five kilogram of premium rice, two liter of cooking oil, one kilogram sugar, and one kilogram fluor.

Bank DKI Director Agus Haryoto Widodo, said Bank DKI always strives to contribute to assist Jakarta Provincial Government's program in its efforts to support the realization of one of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG's) point 2, namely creating conditions without hunger.

"It is hoped that it can have a positive impact on the welfare of the community, especially Jakarta, in meeting food needs," he said, Monday (7/8).

Apart from distributed 1,000 basic food packages, Bank DKI also provided special booth to give information to residents related its product and service.

Meanwhile, Bank DKI Company Secretary, Arie Rinaldi, explained Bank DKI will continue to strive to increase positive contributions to society through sustainable CSR programs.

"Bank DKI's CSR program is not only a company obligation but also part of Bank DKI's commitment to become an agent of change that empowers the community and supports sustainable development in Jakarta," he explained.

Bank DKI also distributed 800 eggs to SDN Lagoa 07, North Jakarta at the same day to support government's program in reducing stunting.

Bank DKI was also implementing the PT Bank DKI Sustainable Finance Action Plan program for 2024. This distribution was carried out at the same time as the ceremonial establishment of the Pancasila Laboratory School at SDN Lagoa 07, North Jakarta.
