Water channel normalization on Jalan Kampung Bali XX, RT 03/07, Kampung Bali Urban Village, Tanah Abang is about to complete this week. The work is being run by Central Jakarta Water Resource Sub-agency since Monday (6/24). The progress has reached 92 percent.

Tanah Abang Sub-district Water Resource Implementer Unit Head, Eli Menawan Sari, said the work to normalize the 50 meter long channel is carried out by replacing the collapsed sheet pile with u-ditch concrete measuring 60x60 centimeters.

According to her, second stage of normalization will be run after this one is completed.
"We deploy 10 personnel every day to work on the channel," she added.
RT 03/07 Head of Kampung Bali, Ainul Ichsan, appreciated the normalization. He hopes all water channel in the area can be normalized too.
"We request the work to be continued into the macro channel," he admitted.
