As many as 250 personnel of East Jakarta Parks and City Forest Sub-agency have been deployed to arrange the area of Jalan Raya Halim Perdanakusuma.
This is targeted to be completed next week
It is related to the plan to parade the Red and White Heritage Flag from the State Palace in Jakarta to IKN, East Kalimantan, via Halim Perdanakusuma Airport, next August 10.
East Jakarta Parks and City Forest Sub-agency Head, Djauhar Arifin said the work has been ongoing since yesterday where they cleaned garbage and arranged plants at ten spots along the road towards Halim Perdanakusuma Airport.

According to him, this arrangement included embroidering the median part of the road, as well as patching empty areas with new plants, and pruning plants that look lush to make them more beautiful.
Green and Cemetery Section Acting Head, Randi Putra added that there were around 5,700 ornamental plants planted at the location. They consisted of pretty pink (4,000 polybags), palm tree (1,200 polybags), and pucuk merah (500 polybags).
"All plants will be planted in spots that look empty, including replacing dry or dead plants with new ones. Thus , the area still looks attractive," he stated.
