Minister for Women's Empowerment and Child Protection (Minister PPPA) Bintang Puspayoga said Indonesian children are a future generation full of potential. They grew up in an era where technology and the internet have become an inseparable part of everyday life.
With all the sophistication and opportunities offered by the internet, Bintang emphasized that there is a big responsibility to use technology wisely and responsibly.
"However, unfortunately, not all children can take advantage of technological developments optimally," he said.
Bintang added that there are also many cases of internet abuse by children, such as addiction to gadgets and online games. In fact, a lot of children's personal data is spread and children are exposed to violence and economic and sexual exploitation.
"Therefore, all of us, both children and adults, need to join hands to improve digital intelligence to become a digital stronghold in the online realm," he explained.
