40 Children Enjoy Health Screening Services in Jelambar Baru

The Arjuna Remaja Posyandu cadres, Jelambar Baru Urban Village, Grogol Petamburan Sub-district, West Jakarta, held health screening services for children and teenagers at Duta Mas RPTRA, Jalan Kusuma, RT 04/12, Duta Mas Housing Complex, Jelambar Baru, Monday (7/22).

Jelambar Baru Urban Village Head, Danur Sasono said the health screening was attended by 40 children and adolescents aged 7-18 years. It was realized in collaboration with the Pembantu Jelambar Baru Health Center Community or puskesmas.
"This is to ensure the health of children and teenagers, especially in Jelambar Baru," he expressed.

Aside that, socialization was also held regarding the prevention of TB disease and the provision of additional food such as milk and bread.

Remaja Arjuna Posyandu Cadre, Selvia Prasindhi Ningrum explained the posyandu brings positive benefits in order to find out about the health of teenagers and meet them with good nutrition for consumption.
"Thus, children and teenagers can continue to maintain good health and nutritional intake," she explained.
The service received appreciation from one of the screening participants, Nur Salsabilah (16).
"I know my body's health condition and also know how to eat healthy and nutritious food that is suitable for my body to consume," she stated.
