The burnt SDN Pondok Bambu 01 building, Jalan Gading II RT 05/11 Pondok Bambu, Duren Sawit, East Jakarta, Tuesday (7/23), will be rebuilt this year.

They start the learning activity at SDN Pondok Bambu 07 at noon

Acting Jakarta Education Agency Head, Budi Awaludin, said the school building must be rebuilt for the sake of 469 students learning activity. Now his side is still making the concept.

"It could be rebuilt by using city budget amendment or CSR," he said.

Apart from the building which was destroyed by fire, added Budi, all archives, school equipment and student report cards were also burnt down.

"Luckily there is still backup for student's report through e-report," Budi added.

For the learning activity, the students are moved to SDN Pndok Bambu 07 starting today. The distance between these schools is only 200 meter.

"They start the learning activity at SDN Pondok Bambu 07 at noon," he stated, Wednesday (7/24).

Duren Sawit Sub-district's Education Implementation Unit Head, Farida Farhah, explained SDN Pondok Bambu 07 still has empty classroom. This school has been renovated totally last year.

"This incident should not disturb the student's learning activity since they are moved to SDN Pondok Bambu 07 starting today," she said.

Meanwhile, East Jakarta Education Sub-agency Region 1 Head, Fahmi, hoped the building of SDN Pondok Bambu 01 can be built in three floors since there are 469 students.

"Our proposal is to be built on three floors. Because the number of students is very large and this is to provide comfort when carrying out teaching and learning activities," he stated.
