S. Jakarta Social Sub-agency Disburses Assistance for Fire Survivors in Rawajati

South Jakarta Social Sub-agency distributed assistance for residents impacted with fire incident at Gang Madrasah, Jalan Raya Kalibata, RT 08/01, Rawajati Urban Village, Pancoran Sub-district.

The assistance has been distributed in the morning

South Jakarta Social Sub-agency Head, Bernard Tambunan, said the assistance provided to the fire survivors was to help meet their daily needs after the fire, Wednesday (7/24) night.

Assistance Given to Fire Survivors in Pondok Kelapa

"The assistance has been distributed in the morning after making coordination with local government and local administrators," he said, Thursday (7/25).

Assistances disbursed were 16 boxes of instant noodle, 32 pcs biscuit, 40 cans sardine, eight bottles ketchup, eight blankets, eight pcs toothpaste, eight pcs soap, eight bottles shampoo, 10 pcs goodie bag, eight pcs dipper, 16 pcs towel.

Then muslim prayer equipment for men and women 15 sets, eight sets of cleaning equipment, 15 sandals, eight folding mattresses, eight roll-up mattresses, six bales of adult diapers, and a number of men's and women's underwear.

"Hopefully this assistance can support their daily life," he added.

Meanwhile, South Jakarta Fire Handling and Rescue Sub-agency Head, Syamsul Huda, said his side deployed 20 firetrucks with 80 personnel during the fire incident.

"Electrical short circuit is allegedly causing the fire. In this incident, there were three victims who were burned, in shock and short of breath, all of them have been treated by health workers," he stated.
