Driving Training in North Jakarta Participated by 80 People

to reduce the level of open unemployment

As many as 80 participants participated Driving License A Training held by North Jakarta Manpower, Transmigration and Energy Sub-agency.

Driving Training Held in Central Jakarta

North Jakarta Manpower, Transmigration and Energy Sub-agency's Training, Positioning, Productivity and Transmigration Section Head, Dwi Juni Lastuty, said the training is held from July 29 to August 10, 2024.

This activity is carried out as an effort to reduce the level of open unemployment in North Jakarta by increasing community competence.

"The activity is participated by 80 participants from six sub-districts in North Jakarta. They are job seekers of various ages with a maximum age requirement of 45 years," he said.

Participants are provided with theoretical and practical materials, starting from an introduction to car engines, overcoming minor obstacles when driving, as well as safety materials and driving ethics.

After participating the training, he added, they will be given a free Class A driving license and receive a training certificate. Then, a Job Seeker Card (AK/1) which is connected to job canvassing through the Career Hub/Siapkerja system.

"I hope this training will be able to gain self-development, skill improvement, knowledge, and networking," he added.

For participants who have not graduated can join the next batch since there are seven more batches in 2024.

Meanwhile, one of the training participants, Hendy Alfian (29), admitted happy and thankful to participate the training.

"I will try to apply as online driver right after the training is completed," he admitted.
