There were 161 pets owned by residents of Pisangan Baru Urban Village, Matraman, East Jakarta, given anti rabies vaccine during a week ago.

Matraman Sub-district's Food Security, Maritime and Agriculture Implementation Unit Head, Aryanti Retno Hasttari, said the vaccination was run at RW secretariat office of Pisangan Baru Urban Village.

According to her, there were 160 cats and one dog had receive vaccine. The program was run at RW 02, 04, 05, 07, 10, 12 and RW 14 of Pisangan Baru Urban Village.
"We deployed two officers assisted by RT, RW, LMK, PKK cadre, dasawisma, and local urban village apparatuses," she admitted.
