As many as 130 joint personnel held a cleanup action in the Monas area, precisely on Jalan Medan Merdeka Barat and Selatan by collaborating with the Penarik Delman Community, Sunday (8/4).

Central Jakarta Economy and Development Assistant, Bakwan Ferizan Ginting said the cleaning was done by sweeping two streets. The same action was spotted at the Monas 2 Bus Stop on Jalan Medan Merdeka Barat and the IRTI Bus Stop on Jalan Medan Merdeka Selatan.
"This work involved PPSU and various regional apparatus organizations," he stated.

"Monas is a tourist icon in Central Jakarta whose cleanliness we must maintain together," he explained.
Gambir Urban Village Head, Gabriel Mahardika added the 130 joint personnel involved were 60 personnel from Central Jakarta PPSU, 10 personnel from Central Jakarta Bina Marga Sub-agency, and 20 personnel each from Central Jakarta SDA Sub-agency, Central Jakarta Environment Sub-agency, and Central Jakarta Tamhut Sub-agency assisted by 35 personnel from Penarik Delman Community.
"This is part of our routine activities to maintain the cleanliness and comfort of the Monas area," he stated.
