PSN in Duri Selatan Targets 114 Houses

Mosquito Nest Eradication (PSN) keeps being intensified in Duri Selatan Urban Village, Tambora Sub-district, West Jakarta. Like today, the PSN activity that took place in RW 06 targeted 114 houses.

Duri Selatan Urban Village Head, Tariswan said today's PSN action involved 50 joint personnel urban village ASN, Health Center or Puskesmas, Satpol PP, PPSU, Jumantik, Dasawisma, PKK, Gulkarmat Sub-agency, and RT/RW administrators.

"PSN is held to ensure that residents' homes and other locations are free from Aedes aegypti mosquito larvae, which causes dengue hemorrhagic fever (DHF)," he expressed, Friday (8/9).

PSN Action in Ragunan Keeps Being Intensified

He added dozens of personnel were deployed to check the existence of water storage places such as bathtubs, buckets, flower pots, dispensers, and so on.

"Of the 114 houses checked, mosquito larvae were found in four houses and these were then destroyed," he stated.
