According to him, the decline in dengue cases was thought to have occurred due to the current season's trend. Then the eradication of mosquito nests (PSN) continued to be intensified by Jumantik cadres, Jumantik Mandiri, and urban villages and health centers or puskesmas.

Section and Disease Control Head, Arum Ambasari explained that despite the trend of dengue fever cases continuing to decline, his party still urged the public to always be alert.

He added steps or efforts to prevent dengue fever must continue to be taken, such as routinely cleaning water reservoirs, keeping the environment clean, and maintaining Clean and Healthy Living Behavior (PHBS).

"Weather factors and air humidity have the potential to become breeding grounds for the Aedes aegypti mosquito, which can carry the virus that causes dengue fever. So, PSN using the 3M method must still be conducted," he stated.
