Channel Performance in Rawa Buaya Optimized

The West Jakarta Water Resources Sub-agency (SDA) says the water channel construction is being built on Jalan Kacang Tanah Raya, RW 10, Rawa Buaya Urban Village, Cengkareng Sub-district. The work progress has touched 40 percent so far.

West Jakarta SDA Sub-agency Head, Purwanti said the channel along one kilometer was being widened from 40 to 60-100 centimeters, as well as using U-Ditch as high as one meter.

"This is done, as the channel was previously unoptimal and some points are damaged," she expressed, Wednesday (8/14).

According to her, it would take up to 120 days, precisely from June 12 to October 9, 2024.

The work above received appreciation from a resident from RT 05.10, Rawa Buaya Urban Village, Santoso Pribadi (39).

"Thank you and hopefully it can minimize flooding in the rainy season," he said.
