Central Jakarta Administration Holds Community Work at Lapangan Banteng

Central Jakarta Administration held community work at Lapangan Banteng, Pasar Baru Urban Village, Sawah Besar, Friday (8/16).

The community work was held as part of 79th Independence Day Ceremony preparation in Central Jakarta.

Central Jakarta Mayor, Dhany Sukma, said the community work involved 400 joint personnel of PPSU, SDA, Bina Marga, Environment, Satpol PP, Transportation, City Park and Forestry, and community.

"The ceremony will be held tomorrow at Lapangan Banteng," he said.

Not only cleaning the area, Dhany added, his side also pruning trees, arranging park and sidewalk curb.

Central Jakarta City Park and Forestry Head, Mila Ananda, stated 17 trees were also planted during the program.

"The trees will cover the area from the sun," she stated.
