He explained the laboratory had been accredited by the National Accreditation Committee (KAN) with the ISO 17025 standard since 2002 and registered as an ‘Environmental Laboratory’ by the Ministry of Environment and Forestry in 2011. He assessed, this recognition confirms LLHD's reliability in providing valid and accurate test result data.

"With competent personnel, modern equipment, and internationally recognized standard methods, this laboratory is ready to meet the need for accurate environmental data," he explained.

He added the agency renovated the LLHD Building in 2023 in order to improve the quality of services. The improved facilities are the test sample storage room, preparation room, and instrument room which meet international standards.

"This facility is designed to increase the laboratory's confidence in serving the community and supporting the main tasks and functions of the Environmental Agency," he added.

Besides physical renovations, LLHD also introduced SIBOLINK, an information system that allows customers to register for sample test submissions online. This system was expected to speed up services and increase the transparency and satisfaction of the public who use the services.

"With SIBOLINK, service becomes excellent because it is faster and more transparent, which ultimately increases the satisfaction of the public who use services at LLHD," he uttered.

Hopefully, it could become a benchmark for environmental testing laboratories in Indonesia and continue to make continuous improvements.

"We maximize laboratory services for better environmental management and monitoring in Jakarta," he stated.
