As many as 40 participants take part in Betawi dance and craft training at South Jakarta Arts and Culture Training Center (PPSB), Jalan Asem Baris, Kebon Baru Urban Village, Tebet Sub-district.

Rusmantoro explained that in the five-day training, participants are given material on craft training with products such as accessories, pot decorations, and posters.
"Their works can be taken home also," he explained.
According to him, dance training includes dance techniques and introduction to the characteristics of Betawi dance.
"It is hoped participants will gain knowledge and skills that can be applied to produce economic value with this free training," he added.
Meanwhile, Head of the Art Craft Study Program, Faculty of Fine Arts, Jakarta Arts Institute, Zamiliah, stated this training is also part of community service by IKJ together with South Jakarta Culture Sub-agency.
"I hope they are enthusiastic in participating this training from part to part. It means they will be able to apply their knowledge easier," she stated.
