15 Semifinalists Ready to Compete in the 2015 Abang None Pageant

As many as 15 pairs finally had been chosen in the semifinal of 2015 Abang None pageant for North Jakarta, Sunday (5/3). According to schedule, they will be re-selected to become the 2015 North Jakarta Abang None.

Besides performance, we will also test their intelligent and personality because they will become North Jakarta ambassadors to promote tourism

Previously, 250 participants underwent the first test on Saturday (5/2) yesterday and left 60 pairs of semifinalists.

North Jakarta Tourism and Culture Sub-Department Head, Suwarto said the abang none final will be held in Lapiazza Kelapa Gading, Saturday (5/6). About 15 pairs would be re-selected into 3 pairs to represent the abang none competition at provincial level.

" Besides performance, we will also test their intelligent and personality because they will become North Jakarta ambassadors to promote tourism ," he told, Sunday (5/3).

He added, unlike the previous year, the abang none final will be held in conjuction with the Jakarta Food and Fashion Festival (JF13). He stated, in future, he also wants the same event could be held.

"JF 13 is identical to North Jakarta. That's why, we'll involve the organizer to promote North Jakarta optimally," he asserted.

One of semifinalists, Werie Irma Pamasih (22) said she was happy participating in the competition. Besides interested in becoming a tourism ambassador, she admitted got insights, experiences, and new friends.

"I can develop myself better in this competition. I hope I will become a finalist," she uttered.
