Ahok: Students, Please Do the Exam Without Cheating

Jakarta Governor, Basuki “Ahok” T Purnama reviewed the implementation of national exams in the State Junior High School (SMPN) 65, Jalan Sunter Karya Selatan V, Sunter Agung Urban Village, Tanjung Priok, North Jakarta, Monday (5/4). They cannot do the exam in its own building due to fire incident on April 14, and have to be relocated to the SMA 80 building.

This first exam itself is participated by 315 ninth-graders of SMP 65.

While wearing a Korpri uniform, he arrived in the school at 6.45 AM. His arrival aimed to review the national exam in each classroom.

Ahok gave a motivation to the students to do the exam without cheating. “As human being, honesty is the most important thing in our life. I can be like this because many people who entrusted me,” he expressed.

He uttered, the score does not become an absolute benchmark for the students to determine graduation. Yet the important is persistence and honesty in getting the score into the main capital. “Smart is relative you know, every person has their own talents. But it depend on us, whether we want to work hard or not," he stressed.

Afterwards, he also took a picture with students and teachers.

“This noon, the implementation of B package exam will be also held. While the tenth-twelfth grader students get a day off get until the exam ends on May 7,” said a Principal of SMPN 65, Pua Magharani.
