National Exam in SMPN 49 Monitored by 28 CCTVs

In order to avoid cheating during the national exam, as many as 28 closed circuit television cameras (CCTV) have been installed in State Junior High School (SMPN) 49, Jalan Raya Bogor, Kramatjati, East Jakarta. To optimize its supervision, the school side also involved the Indonesian Children Protection Commission (KPAI). 

Besides CCTV, we also involve two supervisors

Those CCTVs were installed in classrooms, school corridors, as well as stairs and school yards.

There will Be No leak of National Exam Texts

According to Sri Sulastri, a Principal of SMPN 49, the CCTV instalation has been done since th school's status as the International Pilot Project Schools (RSBI). “Besides CCTV, we also involve two supervisors,” she told.

She stated the number of the exam participants is reaching 309 students. But one of them, Arlodio Putro Utama (16), was absent due to dengue fever. He is currently still hospitalized in Cijantung Hospital.

Meanwhile, Head of East Jakarta Education Zone 2, Didi Sugandi expressed thus far, the exam sheets have been distributed to schools. A total of the exam participants in zone 1 and 2 is about 44,787 students.

“Students who are absent can undergo the make-up exams next week. Then for those who are sick but they want to participate the exam, we will prepare the exam sheets and its supervisors," he uttered.
