Heru Receives B2W Indonesia Community Audience

Acting Jakarta Governor, Heru Budi Hartono met the audience of Bike to Work Indonesia at City Hall, Thursday (8/29).

B2W Indonesia was first established in 2005 and declared at the Jakarta City Hall

This meeting discussed the joint cycling activities in the context of the 19th Indonesian Bike to Work Day which will be held on Friday (8/30) morning.

After the meeting, President of B2W Indonesia, Hendro Subroto said that his party conveyed the routine activities held every year to welcome the 19th anniversary of B2W Indonesia in 2024.

"B2W Indonesia was first established in 2005 and declared at the Jakarta City Hall. We will hold a retracement," he said, Thursday (8/29).

He added that Acting Jakarta Governor, Heru Budi Hartono, fully supported the B2W Indonesia activity that will be held tomorrow.

"Whatever the activity, let's campaign and discuss with related agencies. The Acting Jakarta Governor also asked B2W Indonesia to be a role model regarding important road safety, security and comfort," he added.

According to him, Jakarta Provincial Government has provided the best in accommodating the aspirations of the cycling community compared to other regions in Indonesia, seen from the efforts, provision of bicycle lane infrastructure and education to the community.

"B2W Indonesia is ready to work with the Jakarta Provincial Government to provide input so that it can improve or enhance the quality of the bicycle lane services that have been provided," he stated.
