One of the students, Fani Khairunnisa (10), admitted that she was happy to visit the North Jakarta Library because she could directly enjoy the atmosphere and choose interesting reading books.

"Very happy, we can read books together, the collection is also very large. We are also invited to other activities such as watching and listening to fairy tales," she admitted, Tuesday (9/3).

Meanwhile, North Jakarta Library and Archive Sub-agency's Library Section Head, Fajar Andi Nugroho, said Literacy Tour activities are routine visits from each school that aim to introduce the library to students.

"We also want to improve reading culture through learning outside the classroom," he said.

As many as 81 students were invited to tour the conventional library and continued with various activities such as storytelling, reading books together, and watching educational films.

"They are also invited to show their talents of dancing, poetry and others," he added.

He hopes that this Literacy Tourism visit can foster a sense of love and interest in students to read diligently, both at home and at school.

"Hopefully the library will be more crowded with visitors. On September 10-11 there will be another visit of Literacy Tour, this proves that students are very happy to visit the library," he admitted.
