Transjakarta Prepares Parking Area and Additional Fleet for Grand Mass

PT Transportasi Jakarta (Transjakarta) prepares parking areas for those who want to attend the Grand Mass with Pope Francis at Gelora Bung Karno today.

Cawang Depot capacity is for 200 buses and Kampung Rambutan Depot is 110 buses

Transjakarta's Public Relation and CSR Head, Ayu Wardhani, said Cawang and Kampung Rambutan Depots will be used as parking areas.

"Cawang Depot capacity is for 200 buses and Kampung Rambutan Depot is 110 buses starting from 6 AM to 10 PM," Ayu said, Thursday (9/5).

Kampung Rambutan Bus Terminal Prepares Parking for Grand Mass

Ayu explained that the parking areas should facilitate the congregation who want to attend Pope Francis' Grand Mass, especially for those coming from outside Jakarta. Furthermore, the public could use Transjakarta services to get to the location of the Grand Mass.

"Our depot is very close to the regular Transjakarta service. The congregation can use our service that goes to GBK from the parking areas. The congregation can also use the same service to return to the parking areas located at the depot after the event," Ayu explained.

Ayu stated that Transjakarta also adds 300 buses during the event. It is hoped this support will ease the congregation mobility to attend the Grand Mass with Pope Francis.

"Transjakarta is ready to support this activity and facilitate the mobility of people who want to go to the event location. To facilitate travel and see the nearest routes and stops is very easy by downloading the TJ: Transjakarta application and everything you need can be accessed with one grip," Ayu stated.
