As many as 30 students of Bale Bermain Rawasari Ceria State-level Early Childhood Education Unit (SPS), Thursday (9/5), visited Petojo Enclek Library on Jalan Tanah Abang I RT 11/08, Petojo Selatan Urban Village, Gambir, Central Jakarta.

 to welcome International Literacy Day

Central Jakarta Library and Archive Sub-agency Head, Irwan Septinadi, said the students were taken to get to know the library, read books, watch educational films, draw, and enjoy fairy tales.

"Apart from introducing literacy from an early age, this activity is also in order to welcome International Literacy Day," Irwan said.

Irwan explained that books about honesty and togetherness were read to the students. The storyteller interspersed it with entertaining stories.

It is hoped that children will grow into a generation that loves reading through the introduction of this library.

Acting Head of Bale Bermain Rawasari Ceria State-level Early Childhood Education Unit, Barjono, expressed gratitude for being allowed to visit the Petojo Enclek Library. According to him, this visit is important to build character and introduce children to literacy from an early age.

"The activities presented exciting resource persons who are able to stimulate children to get to know the world of literacy in a fun way," he stated.
