North Jakarta Resident Optimistic Jakarta to Win PON XXI

The medal tally increases every day

Jakarta athletes continue to strive to win golds medal at the 21st Aceh and North Sumatera National Sports Week (PON). Support and prayers continue to be given, including from North Jakarta residents.

One of residents living at RT 14/05, Rorotan Urban Village, Cilincing Sub-district, North Jakarta, Citra Rizky Utami (28), said the Jakarta Provincial Government's support for sports is increasing. This is an opportunity for young athletes to perform their best and win as many medals as possible.

"The medal tally increases every day. Hopefully we can be the overall champion at PON XXI," Citra said, who is also former Woman Football Athlete, Monday (9/9).

The Jakarta Woman Football Team goes to semifinal after beating Papua and South Sulawesi. She hopes the team will win the competition.

"I believe the Woman Football team and other sport branches are able to win gold medal," she stated.

Similar thing was also conveyed by Maulana Syifsa Udzihni (27), resident of Kalibaru Urban Village, Cilincing Sub-district, North Jakarta. She said that the athletes competing in PON XXI are young talents who have extraordinary abilities, because they are able to compete on the national stage.

"I hope they can play at their maximum level and get the best results to bring Jakarta's name to the highest podium," she said.
