The results of the BPS study show several economic impacts in Jakarta from the affirmative action of Domestic Product spending, those are:
a. There was a contraction in Jakarta's foreign imports in semester I/2024 (imports of consumer goods = -7.30 percent; imports of capital goods = -14.34 percent; and imports of raw and auxiliary materials = -6.02 percent)
b. The realization of PMA and PMDN investment in Quarter II/2024 showed positive growth of 28.95 percent and 57.8 percent.
West Jakarta City Secretary, Indra Patrianto, while opening the 16th Business Matching, explained the economy in West Jakarta is currently growing, marked by several increasing development activities.
"West Jakarta Administration currently is also collecting assets which now reaches more than Rp 4 trillion," he explained.
Based on Bigbox LKPP, he continued, West Jakarta has spent 51.12 percent for domestic products.
