Jakarta Provincial Government's Domestic Product Spending Realization Reaches 62.61 Percent

62.61 percent out of target Rp 30.68 trillion

Jakarta Provincial Government keeps intensifying the Use of Domestic Products (P3DN). Jakarta Provincial Government has spent Rp 16.05 trillion for Domestic Product.

Jakarta Industry, Trade, Cooperative, Small and Medium Enterprise Agency (PPKUKM) Head, Ratu Rante Allo, said as the Bigbox LKPP data revealed, Jakarta Provincial Government has spent Rp 16.05 trillion for Domestic Product up to September 6, 2024.

"Rp 16.05 trillion is similar with 62.61 percent out of target Rp 30.68 trillion," she said, Tuesday (9/10).

Ratu added that her side routinely holds Business Matching event to increase the Use of Domestic Products (P3DN) in order to bring industrial business actors who already have Domestic Component Level (TKDN) certificates with Budget Use Authorities (KPA), Commitment Making Officers (PPK), Goods/Services Procurement Officers (PPBJ) and Technical Activity Implementation Officers (PPTK), especially within the Jakarta Provincial Government.

"One of the indicators of the progress of a global city is strengthening the industry-based economy. In order to produce innovative products to replace imported products, domestic industry requires certainty of demand to be able to develop and conduct research," she added.

The results of the BPS study show several economic impacts in Jakarta from the affirmative action of Domestic Product spending, those are:

a. There was a contraction in Jakarta's foreign imports in semester I/2024 (imports of consumer goods = -7.30 percent; imports of capital goods = -14.34 percent; and imports of raw and auxiliary materials = -6.02 percent)

b. The realization of PMA and PMDN investment in Quarter II/2024 showed positive growth of 28.95 percent and 57.8 percent.

West Jakarta City Secretary, Indra Patrianto, while opening the 16th Business Matching, explained the economy in West Jakarta is currently growing, marked by several increasing development activities.

"West Jakarta Administration currently is also collecting assets which now reaches more than Rp 4 trillion," he explained.

Based on Bigbox LKPP, he continued, West Jakarta has spent 51.12 percent for domestic products.
