The Jakarta pool diving team achieved brilliant result by collecting six gold, five silver, and four bronze medals at PON XXI Aceh-North Sumatra.

Jakarta KONI Secretary, Aminullah, said this success is the result of various preparations that have been made such as home and abroad training camps, as well as tryouts.

"Our preparation was already good for this. We also grabbed medal for the individual category. Surely we also won medal for the relay time if we won it in individual," he said, Saturday (9/14).

Jakarta Daily Chairperson of the Indonesian Diving Sports Association (POSSI) as well as Head Coach of Pool Diving and Sea Diving, Rahayu, also expressed her joy for the team's achievements.

"Thanks God we won six golds, five bronzes, and two bronzes," she said.

She also appreciated the hard work and spirit of the athletes especially after one of the female swimmers was disqualified due to violation allegation. Thanks to KONI and Jakarta Youth and Sport Agency support.

Jakarta pool diving team has further strengthened its position in the medal tally at PON XXI with this extraordinary achievement.
