Area Arrangement on Jalan Kramat to Complete this Weekend

The area arrangement on Jalan Kramat, RT 01/02, Grogol Selatan Urban Village, Kebayoran Lama Sub-district, South Jakarta is targeted to complete this weekend.

Grogol Selatan Urban Village Secretary, Tengku Aji Mahbrury, said the area was used as illegal dump site and street vendors.

Area Arrangement on Jalan Setapak Reaches 95 Percent

"We cooperated with Satpol PP to control the street vendor before arranging the area," he said, Tuesday (9/17).

His side also cooperated with PT KAI for using the land during the arrangement above 80 square meter land. Then cooperated with South Jakarta City Park and Forestry Sub-agency for getting plant seed assistance.

"The roadside border improvement is run by South Jakarta Bina Marga personnel," he added.

According to him, now the work has reached 95 percent and is targeted to complete this weekend.

Meanwhile, one of local residents, Yahya (51), appreciated the arrangement since it makes the area looks brighter, cleaner, and more beautiful. As well as free from waste and illegal street vendors.

"Citizens and the government must give support each other in improving the environment," he admitted.
