15 Trees Planted on Jalan Raya Bogor's Kali Baru Riverbank

As many as 15 trees, Friday (9/20) were planting along Kali Baru riverbank, Jalan Raya Bogor KM 20 Rambutan Urban Village, Ciracas, East Jakarta.

Hopefully the trees will bring more beauty

The activity was initiated by East Jakarta City Park and Forestry Sub-agency by involving personnel of Green Taskforce, Sub-district Implementer Unit, Transportation Sub-agency, Satpol PP, and urban village and sub-district staffs.

East Jakarta City Park and Forestry Sub-agency Head, Djauhar Arifin, said those 15 trees were five Bungur and 10 yellow tabebuia. The location still has empty land to be planted with plants.

"Hopefully the trees will bring more beauty for the riverbank area," he said.

Previously, 50 yellow tabebuia trees were already planted there. Moreover, dike and plaster of the riverbank have been improved.

East Jakarta City Park and Forestry Sub-agency's Acting Green Lane and Cemetery Section Head, admitted the activity involved 50 joint personnel.

According to him, tree planting will continue to be carried out to support the achievement of the target of planting 10 thousand trees in 2024.

"The activity is routinely held by targeting area with less planting," he admitted.
