100 AKAP Buses Undergo KIR Tests at Bus Kampung Rambutan Terminal

The Pulogadung Motor Vehicle Testing Management (UP PKB) has noted that as many as 100 AKAP buses at Kampung Rambutan Bus Terminaln have undergone KIR tests from January to July 2024.

It will be reheld next week, every Tuesday

Pulogadung UP PKB Head, Edi Sufaat said the KIR test would be canceled last August and will start again on Tuesday (9/24).

He explained it was aimed at smoothing services and minimize queues in the PKB Pulogadung area.

"We had stopped it last August, because we were celebrating Land Transportation Day. All services were returned to Pulogadung UP PKB," he explained, Monday (9/23).

Then the service would be held in early September but there was damage to the engine part used for the Kir test. So, his party had to make repairs first.

"It will be reheld next week, every Tuesday," he added.

Pulogadung UP PKB's Facility Executing Unit Head, Agus Sugiarto added his party prepared one unit of transformer test car. The container truck type car containing the Kir test equipment was on standby every Tuesday with five officers.

He added this free service was for all AKAP bus fleets from Jakarta and outside Jakarta at Kampung Rambutan Terminal.

"It is held every Tuesday with a random system in the AKAP bus area," he said.
