Transjakarta Modifies JAK78 Mikrotrans Service

PT Transjakarta modified the JAK 78 Mikrotrans service on Benda – Penjaringan route. The changes were made by dividing the service into two travel routes, namely, JAK 78A (Benda – Cengkareng Timur) and JAK 78B (Jembatan Tiga – Teluk Gong).

This certainly makes it easier to travel 

PT Transjakarta's Public Relations Department and CSR Head, Ayu Wardhani said the modification aims to maximize services. It was because there were several roads that could not be crossed by the fleet on JAK 78 route, namely Jalan Kapuk Raya and Jalan Kapuk Kayu Besar.

"Thus, we divided the JAK78 service into two and hopefully it can better accommodate customer needs to go to the nearest Transjakarta bus stops, transfer to other modes of transportation or for daily activities," she expressed, Tuesday (9/24).

Transjakarta: Policy According to Procedures and Rules

According to him, those two routes were served by a total of 25 Mikrotrans fleet units every day from 5 AM to 10 PM with a fare of Rp 0. The Mikrotrans service is an implementation of the Jakarta Government's directive, where every 500 meters from the community's home, they can access public transportation.

"Mikrotrans services can be an alternative choice because they reach residential areas. This certainly makes it easier to travel from one's residence to the public transportation transit location and vice versa easily, safely, and comfortably," he explained.

He added customers are cureently also increasingly facilitated by the latest digital application TJ: Transjakarta which can be accessed by IOS and Android users.

"With this application, customers can track their journey and get various information about Transjakarta services such as the nearest route, bus arrival times, current bus positions in real time, and even ticket purchases," he explained.
