The revitalization work on the channel located on Jalan Rawa Selatan Buntu, RW 07, Kampung Rawa Urban Village, Johar Baru, Central Jakarta, which has been ongoing since August 27 was 100 percent completed yesterday.

Kampung Rawa Urban Village Secretary, Wirayudha said the revitalization in the form of repairs and widening of channels conducted by Jakarta Public Housing and Residential Areas Agency (PRKP) is a follow-up to residents' proposals through Musrenbang 2023.
According to him, the 100-meter-long channel revitalization was conducted by replacing the sheet pile which previously used river stone material with U-ditch concrete measuring 100 centimeters wide and high and the top was completed with a concrete cover.

The work received appreciation from RW 07 Kampung Rawa Urban Village Chairman, Rizky Muamar Ramli.
"Hopefully, the residents will immediately feel the benefits of this channel repair," he hoped.
