The Pluit Urban Village, Penjaringan Sub-district, North Jakarta has completed the development work for the third quarter area on Jalan Pluit Karang Barat, RW 08.

Area Arrangement in Maphar Urban Village Completed

Pluit Urban Village Head, Achmad Faizal said the arrangement this time targeted the riverbank land behind the urban village office. The location was previously an empty, unkempt land full of wild plants, trash, and debris.

"We are planning this 51-meter-wide land using the concept of greening and urban farming," he expressed, Sunday (9/29).

To smoothen it, his party collaborated with North Jakarta Bina Marga Sub-agency to repair the damaged roads, as well as North Jakarta Maritime, Agriculture and Food Security Sub-agency (KPKP) and Pluit Urban Village TP PKK to arrange and maintain urban farming.

"We also repair and repaint the river embankment, because of collapse," he added.

He hoped it could give an example to the public to transform unused land into clean, green, and beautiful parks or urban farming.

"Hopefully, the area will be more beautiful, comfortable, and green, as well as people can use it for positive activities," he hoped.

The work above received appreciation from one of the residents, Effendy (35).

"Very good, the environment becomes greener, more colorful, and cleaner. More and more areas will be arranged like this in the future," he stated.
