Area Arrangement in Tugu Utara Reaches 90 Percent

The arrangement of the third quarter's superior area on Jalan Cemara Ujung Gang 8, RT 03/01, Tugu Utara Urban Village, Koja Sub-district, North Jakarta has reached 90 percent.

Tugu Utara Urban Village Head, Sigit Riyanto said the area arrangement which has been ongoing since July 2024 carried the theme "Green Alley".

"We involve the participation of environmental administrators and local residents," he expressed, Friday (9/27).

Area Arrangement in Kemayoran Sub-district Completed

He explained the arrangement, which was conducted along more than 60 meters with three meters wide, was given a touch of greenery by planting family medicinal plants (Toga), vegetables, vertical parks, and colorful mural decorations.

"We also repaired and repainted the entrance gate. In fact, at every corner of the road, we made a frame or pole for grape plants to add to the beauty and coolness of the location," he explained.

According to him, the work invloved six personnel every day assisted by RT administrator, Karang Taruna young organizations, and locals.

"Alhamdulillah, the progress has touched 90 percent. Just add plants and fix the mural. Our target is to finish it next week," he uttered.

After it was finished, the community could help maintain and care for the area that has been arranged.

"Let's keep the environment clean, green and pleasing to the eye," he explained.

RT 03/01 Chairman, Tugu Utara Urban Village, Reviyanti expressed her grateful to local urban village officials who have conducted arrangements in their areas.

He hoped that residents could be more involved in arranging their residential environment, especially by intensifying greening and urban farming.

"As residents, we are very happy and support the arrangement of this area. The land that was previously chaotic is now more beautiful and beautiful," he stated.
