Jakarta Entrepreneur Participates in Premiere Classe Exhibition in Paris

Business actors from Jakarta Entrepreneur participated in the Premiere Classe trade exhibition at Carrousel Du Louvre, Paris, France, from September 28 to 30, 2024.

This is one of the real steps taken towards becoming a competitive Global City

They joined the 'Talent Indonesia' booth initiated by the Indonesian Ministry of Trade and the Indonesian Embassy in Paris, and collaborated with L'Adresse Paris Agency.

Jakarta PPKUKM Sub-agency Head, Elisabeth Ratu Rante Allo said the Premiere Classe trade show is the place to go for ready-to-wear and fashion accessories during Paris Fashion Week.

MSMEs under Jakarta Entrepreneur Take Part at Paris Fashion Week

"There are 10 brands of ready-to-wear, accessories, and jewelry. One of them is fostered by Jakarta Entrepreneur, namely Aida Lavani, Party, and Varyan," she expressed, Sunday (9/29).

To participate in this event, they should undergo six months of training and preparation.

In addition to participating in trade shows in Paris, they would also provide industry visits and networking for designers to exchange knowledge with the Institut Français de la Mode and the Printemps department store in Paris.

"Lastly, the designers will showcase their collections at the Fete De L’archipel fashion show followed by a diplomatic reception at the Indonesian Embassy on October 3, 2024," she explained.

She added this major event, which has been running for 30 years, always presents the next season's accessory trends and young designers with their high-end collections. That was by presenting designers of jewelry, shoes, leather goods, textile accessories, and other accessories that are specially selected for their creativity, originality, and style.

Hopefully, they could promote and sell products worldwide and increase export opportunities from the business actor's product sector.

"We also hope it can inspire other SMEs to develop further. This is one of the real steps taken towards becoming a competitive Global City and can further introduce Indonesian fashion to the international world," she closed.
