Second Pilkada 2024 Debate Theme Set, Don't Miss It

The second debate of Jakarta Regional Head Election (Pilkada) 2024 will be held at Beach City International Stadium Ancol, North Jakarta on Sunday, October 27, 2024 at 7 PM.

The debate will be attended by candidate pair for governor and vice governor number 1 Ridwan Kamil-Suswono, candidate pair number 2 Dharma Pongrekun-Kun Wardana and candidate pair number 3 Pramono Anung-Rano Karno.

Jakarta General Election Commission (KPU) Head, Wahyu Dinata said theme to bring on the debate is 'Economy and Social Welfare'.

This theme consists of six sub-themes, namely, integrated infrastructure and prime basic services, education and health, handling social inequality, digital economic development and MSMEs, tourism and creative economy, and staple food inflation. He added that the panelists are experts or specialists in their respective fields.

"KPU has appointed seven panelists from various scientific fields relevant to the second debate theme," he said, Saturday (10/26).

He explained the debate segments will be the same as the first debate. Segment 1 is the delivery of the vision and mission of each candidate's program, segments 2 and 3 are the in-depth discussion of the vision and mission by the moderator. Segments 4 and 5 are questions and answers between candidates, and segment 6 is the delivery of closing statements by each candidate.

"The debate is held for 150 minutes and broadcasted on several television stations," he stated.
