South Jakarta City Government held 2024 Health City Coaching to accelerate the stop defecating indiscriminately (BABS).

South Jakarta Mayor, Munjirin, said the implementation of a healthy city is carried out through various activities through community empowerment and forums facilitated by the city government.

"Its implementation is achieved through the implementation of several arrangements with integrated activities agreed upon by the community and local government," he said, Wednesday (10/30).

Munjirin explained, to obtain the Healthy City award in the Swastisaba Padapa category, 80 percent of ODF-free urban village must be achieved. Then, 90 percent for the Swastisaba Wiwerda category and 100 percent for the Swastisaba Wistara category.

"I appeal urban village heads to do mapping and cooperate with community health center, related OPD and community to handle the sanitation matter," he added.

South Jakarta Community Welfare Division Head, Khabib Asyngari, stated the 2024 Healthy City development aims to accelerate the cessation of BABS in order to move towards a healthy city by implementing nine indicators of the Healthy City order.

"Today's participants were 100 people from related OPD, urban village heads, sub-district heads, representative of community health center, and Healthy City Forum," he stated. 

He emphasized that synchronization and harmonization of OPD activity programs in South Jakarta are needed in supporting the Healthy City program.
