Rabies Vaccination Given to 76 Animals in Kebon Baru

Some 76 animals in Kebon Baru Urban Village, Tebet Sub-district, South Jakarta, vaccinated against rabies.

We check them first before doing vaccination

Tebet Sub-district Food Security, Maritime and Agriculture Executing Unit Head, Hairul Ihsan said the animals vaccinated at Gudang Peluru Swan Park consisted of 64 cats, nine dogs, and three ferrets.

"We check them first before doing vaccination. They are healthy anyway," he expressed, Friday (11/1).

He explained the free rabies vaccination was aimed at providing health for animals and their owners, as well as keeping Jakarta free from rabies.

"As of today, more than 3,000 animals in South Jakarta have been vaccinated against rabies. We'll continue to provide free rabies vaccination outreach services in all sub-districts," he explained.

The vaccination service received appreciation from one of the pet owners, Nurul (29).

"The process of getting a free rabies vaccination is also very simple, just show your ID card," he stated.
