Cengkareng Timur Residents Intensify Water Channel Dredging

Hundreds of resident from RW 04, 05, and 06, Cengkareng Timur Urban Village, Cengkareng Sub-district, West Jakarta together with PPSU personnel conducted communal work by cleaning water channel and residential environment.

Cengkareng Timur Urban Village Head, Boy Raya Purba, said the communal work by involving local residents and PPSU personnel are routinely held at different RW every week.
"Today's communal work is held at RW 04, 05, and 06. It is participated by hundreds of resident," he said, Sunday (11/3).
Mass Communal Work Held at Two RWs in Cengkareng TimurBoy added that his side deployed 30 PPSU personnel, one pick up car, one germor, and one truck owned by West Jakarta Environment Sub-agency.
"We're focusing the communal work on cleaning water channel, pruning trees and wild grass," he added.
RW 05 Head, Slamet Riyadi, admitted residents supported the communal work held by urban village. Moreover, Jakarta has entered the rainy season.
"Hopefully the channel will flow the water smoothly, and free from inundation," he admitted.
