Acting Jakarta Governor, Teguh Setyabudi inaugurated two senior middle leaders in Jakarta Provincial Government. Those are Jakarta Governor Deputy for Culture and Tourism Marullah Matali as Jakarta Regional Secretary who replaces Joko Agus Setyono who were inaugurated as Jakarta Governor Deputy of Industry, Trade and Transportation.

The inauguration and oath taking was carried out based on Presidential Decree of the Republic of Indonesia No 166/TPA of 2024 dated November 8, 2024 about Dismissal and Appointment from and to Senior High-ranking Leader Positions within the Jakarta Provincial Government.

"I would like to congratulate Marullah Matali as Jakarta Regional Secretary and Joko Agus Setyono as Jakarta Governor Deputy of Industry, Trade and Transportation," said Teguh, as quoted from Jakarta Provincial Government's press release, Friday (11/8).

Teguh hopes Marullah Matali and Joko Agus Setyono can carry out their mandate with full dedication and integrity to support the Jakarta Provincial Government function as a national economic center that is transforming into a global city. He is optimistic that the two officials who already have a lot of experience, insight, and dedication can carry out the position as well as possible.

"I ask all officials within the Jakarta Provincial Government to continue improving their capacity, maintaining professionalism, transparency and accountability in carrying out their duties as well as possible, with full of responsibility, caution and based on the benefit principle," Teguh added.

He also hopes regional budget funds allocation can provide a real impact for Jakarta people, especially in terms of improving public services and community welfare.

He emphasized that job transfers are common in a government institution that are carried out with great care. He, as the Acting Governor of Jakarta, ensured that he had implemented all applicable regulatory mechanisms in relation to this job transfer.

"Let us build and improve Jakarta as a sustainable, inclusive city, and competitive. To all Jakarta Provincial Government ranks, we need to be solid, synergize and collaborate better to realize the vision and mission of Jakarta," Teguh stated.
