 creating a healthy living movement

Jakarta Provincial Government appreciates the efforts and dedication of all health facility managers, including hospitals, health centers, and medical personnel in serving the health service for Jakarta residents.

"The award was given to the best hospital in the National Program (Prognas), both for categories A and B, as well as C and D, as a form of commitment and the results of hard work by health workers (nakes) in improving the quality of health services in Jakarta," said Marullah at Jakarta Convention Center (JCC), Central Jakarta, Monday (11/11).

Marullah added that one important aspect to realize Jakarta as a global city is to prepare healthy, productive and competitive human resources.

"I invite all elements of society, both from the government, the business world, and the wider community to jointly participate in creating a healthy living movement, through routine health checks, exercising 30 minutes every day, maintaining a healthy diet, and maintaining the cleanliness of the surrounding environment," Marullah added, as quoted from Jakarta Provincial Government's press release.

Marullah also expressed his gratitude to the Mayors, Sub-district Heads, and Urban Village Heads for their active roles in controlling various community-based infectious diseases. He also congratulated the award-winning villages, especially for the categories of Tuberculosis Alert Village (TB), Larvae-Free Village, and Smoke-Free Village.

At the same moment, Jakarta Health Agency Head, Ani Ruspitawati, said the 60th HKN commemoration coincides with the launch of JakConnected by the Jakarta Health Agency. This is an integrated, competency-based referral service management system to ensure that residents get the best health services faster and easier.

"The latest primary service of the Regional General Hospital (RSUD) will also be launched, awards will be given for the active role of the community in controlling infectious diseases, awards for work achievements, and the signing of a cooperation agreement for the implementation of the use of Talent DNA in supporting the BerAKHLAK (Service-Oriented, Accountable, Competent, Harmonious, Loyal, Adaptive, and Collaborative) work culture within the Jakarta Provincial Health Agency," she said.

Meanwhile, Vice Health Minister, Dante Saksono Harbuwono, appreciated the JakConnected innovation. According to him, this technology is very futuristic to help the performance of health services.

"JakConnected will be connected to the Ministry of Health in reviewing health facilities throughout Indonesia, especially those in Jakarta. JakConnected in Jakarta will be one example that we will implement for other regions. However, technology is not enough, trained health workers are also needed," he stated.
