E. Jakarta PMI Sends Assistance to Residents Surviving Strong Winds

The East Jakarta Indonesian Red Cross (PMI), provided assistance to residents of Jalan H. Nusi RT 04 RW 02, Batu Ampar Urban Village, Kramat Jati, whose houses were damaged by strong winds on November 3, 2024.

East Jakarta PMI's Public Relations and Communication Section Head, Agus Bastian said the assistance provided was in the form of 40 sheets of corrugated iron, four family kit packages and Rp 2 million in cash.

"We sent the aid today and it was received directly by the homeowner. Hopefully, it can help ease his burden," he expressed, Monday (11/11).

Batu Ampar Urban Village Head, Abdul Haris uttered his side had indeed written to the East Jakarta PMI and Baznas Bazis to help his residents who work as the Urban Village PPSU, because their houses were damaged by the wind.

"Hopefully, those houses can be repaired soon," he hoped.
