Council Appreciates Acting Governor Teguh Monitoring Tidal Flood in Muara Angke

Jakarta City Council's Commission D Legislator, Ghozi Sulazmi appreciated Acting Jakarta Governor Teguh Setyabudi and Jakarta Provincial Government ranks for directly monitoring the tidal flood in Muara Angke, Penjaringan, North Jakarta.

Ghozi said that the monitoring was not only to check the condition but also to find solution. Teguh also distributed assistance for local residents.

Acting Governor Teguh Instructs Coastal Embankment Construction Acceleration

"I appreciate Jakarta Provincial Government ranks for monitoring the tidal flood area directly," he said, Tuesday (11/19).

Ghozi explained the direct monitoring run by Jakarta Provincial Government rank was a form of attention and care so that the public feels the presence of government that commits in helping its residents.

"Jakarta Provincial Government can distribute assistance needed by residents and handle the disaster as soon as possible," he added.

He hopes Jakarta Provincial Government together with central government are able to solve current disaster, not only in short-term but also long-term.

"Short-term is solving inundation and up to completing the Giant Sea Wall construction for long-term solution," he explained.
