Jakarta Baznas Bazis Ready to Support Disaster Preparedness

Jakarta Baznas Bazis has priority programs to assist Jakarta residents, especially those who are less fortunate in economic, educational, social and others.

One of the programs is the Baznas Bazis Disaster Response which is present to provide assistance and rescue to residents affected by disasters.

The program also provides disaster education to residents so that they can reduce disaster risks, increase disaster preparedness, increase knowledge about disaster types, and so on.

West Jakarta Baznas (Bazis) Distributes Alms for 350 People

Jakarta Baznas Bazis Head, Akhmad H Abubakar said Baznas Bazis Disaster Response program provides support in the Preparedness to Anticipate the 2024 Rainy Season held by Jakarta Provincial Government.

Abubakar added that his side also deploys personnel as a support for Jakarta Provincial Government's Preparedness to Anticipate the 2024 Rainy Season.

"Baznas Bazis Disaster Response also provides support by preparing disaster safety equipment and evacuation aids namely one Hilux, one LCR, and one river boat," he said, Monday (11/25).

According to him, disaster anticipation is individual and community responsibility. Baznas Bazis Disaster Response will always support disaster anticipation activities in order to create a more prepared and resilient society when a disaster occurs. The community will be able to survive and recover quickly with strong readiness.
