Residents Involved in an Arrangement in Gunung Sahari Utara

The fourth quarter arrangement is being run on Jalan Industri V RT 12/01, Gunung Sahari Utara, Sawah Besar, Central Jakarta.

Gunung Sahari Utara Urban Village Head, Hasbullah said the location was previously used by illegal parking and looked slum. Then his side decided to target the area to be arranged along 40 meter.

"We started the arrangement this early November by cleaning and placing pot," he said, Monday (11/26).

He added that his side also made an iron gate as a place for climbing trees. Moreover, tree planting were also carried out.

As many as eight PPSU personnel are also deployed to create mural.

According to him, his side will continue to improve and increase infrastructure according to the needs even though the arrangement work is completed. His party has carried out arrangement in seven locations since 2023 up to the end of 2024.

"The arrangement on Jalan Industri is also assisted by local residents. It is targeted to complete in mid December. Hopefully local residents will also maintain the area cleanliness after this," he added.

One of local residents, Keng admitted has been participating in making mural since two weeks ago.

"Mural theme is about nature. One mural takes one two weeks to be completed," he admitted.
