City Council Chairman Wants Waste Retribution Socialization Intensified

Jakarta City Council Chairman, Khoirudin requests Jakarta Environmental Agency to socialize waste retribution massively.

Khoirudin said socialization is needed so that resident understand the importance of waste management.

"Hopefully we can conduct socialization together through media or social media," he said, Tuesday (12/3).

He explained that Jakarta City Council will assist Jakarta Provincial Government in socializing this policy during recess.

He added that waste retribution is planned to implement on January 1, 2025 as one of waste solutions in Jakarta.

"The policy is run for the sake of resident's welfare," he added. 

He invites all party to support Jakarta Provincial Government effort in solving waste problem. Legislative will also monitor the implementation.

"Let's support the government policy for the sake of our kindness," he stated.
