5,033 Pets in Central Jakarta Injected by Anti Rabies Vaccine

Central Jakarta Food Security, Maritime and Agriculture Sub-agency has given anti rabies vaccination to 5,033 pets during January to December 4, 2024.
Those are 4,063 cats, 933 dogs, 20 monkeys and 17 weasels
Sub-agency Head, Pentul Yunesi Pudyastuti said keeps intensifying the vaccination to reach target 5,600 pets until the end of December.

Not only conducting vaccination, Penty added, her side also provided sterilization to handle population and gain pets health. All the services are free of charge.
"The effort is aimed to maintain Jakarta's status as free rabies city," she continued.
Central Jakarta Food Security, Maritime, and Agriculture Sub-agency's Animal Husbandry and Health Section Head, Herawati admitted her side is optimistic to reach the target 5,600 pets this year.
"Our next vaccination schedules are in Menteng, Kemayoran, and Cempaka Putih Sub-districts," she admitted.
